In 2017 Giovanbattista Cimmino started to invest in the restaurant world. Investments focused on the cities of London and Milan.

Kowa Restaurant, Milan, Italy.

Kowa is a pan-Asian 140 seat restaurant housed within the luxurious design hotel ‘Fifty House.’ Its interiors are a modern twist on the art deco genre of Orientalism, with hues of teal, deep purple and lacquered blacking contrasting with brass detailing to give the space a luxurious, sensual, intimate feel. From April to October, the restaurant extends into the summer garden with an extra 60 seats surrounding an Asian style fountain. A private dining room, suitable for a party of up to 14, is also available.

Kowa is located in the heart of Milan, just ten minutes from the Duomo. The location has become an international celebrity destination with a luxurious yet informal environment and a cosy feel.

Osteria Romana, London, Knightsbridge.

Tucked in between the Bulgari Hotel and Hyde Park you can find Osteria Romana: reminiscent of cozy, tucked away osterias that line the ancient vias of Italy’s capital city. Like the streets of Rome, Roman cuisine is steeped in layers of history that over the years have become part of a cultural tapestry, fusing different regional dishes, produce and techniques to produce a vast menu of Italian cuisine. Osteria Romana unravels the threads of this tapestry and rediscovers the dishes of Lazio with a pared-back menu inspired by the Italian Grandmother’s dishes.

Inside is warm, intimate, inviting and romantic with tones of ochre, dark woods and accents of brass that encompass the open plan kitchen. Walls are adorned with old black and white photos of family and Roman city life. Despite the size, Osteria Romana seats 30, with extra seating outside for 12, there is plenty of space for privacy, making it the perfect hideaway for a quiet lunch, romantic evening or somewhere to escape Knightsbridge’s bright lights and traffic

Osteria Napoletana, London, Notting Hill.

Sister restaurant to the elegant Osteria Romana in Knightsbridge, known for it’s simple, humble dishes that celebrate Roman produce and culinary history, Osteria Napoletana will do just the same, sharing the local dishes of a classic Neopolitan menu and Italian wine list.

Located on Kensington Park Road, Osteria Napoletana champions the local farmers of Naples whose produce will stock the larders of the Osteria to create ‘antica cucina’ recipes such as Linguine all ‘Nerano’, a linguine pasta with lightly fried courgette slices with parmesan cheese originating from the Amalfi Coast.
